WHY FOUNTAIN HILLS

Fountain Hills has more than doubled in population in the last 10 years - from 10,000 in the early 90's to over 20,000 now. And Fountain Hills is expected to grow by nearly 10,000 more in the next few years. Plus, the greater Fountain Hills area including Rio Verde and east Scottsdale is projected to be over 50,000 people in the near future.

All of this is to say that the opportunity is great! Most of the mainline denominations have had churches in Fountain Hills for at least several years and are serving the community well. But with the growth in population there was the need for a non-denominational community church that focuses on ministry to unchurched people. In other words, different kinds of churches are needed for different kinds of people, and a different kind of church was needed in Fountain Hills.
