FOUR PEAKS

Four Peaks is the name of the rock formation that is in the southern end of the Mazatzal mountain range in eastern Maricopa County and western Gila County.

At over 7,600 feet in elevation, the Four Peaks are visible from many places in the Phoenix area but are particularly prominent from the vistas around the town of Fountain Hills.

The rocky Four Peaks are the highest point in the Phoenix area and to see them can be a reminder to us of the words of the Psalmist :

"Hear my cry, Oh God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I." Psalm 61: 1-2

The four peaks are also symbolic of the four foundational components of our structure - worship, teaching, small groups, and outreach. For more details, see "structure."
